Chester River Health System Celebrates System Milestones with a Summer Picnic
For immediate release...
Chester River Health System employees celebrated the 75th anniversary of the Hospital Center, the Manor’s 40th, and Home Care and Hospice’s 25th at this year’s employee and family summer picnic. The picnic took place on Brown Street, which was temporarily shut down for the day to allow for activities including a dunking tank, moon bounce, petting zoo, music, face painting, karaoke, delicious food, and music provided by DJ Price. Approximately 450 attended, including employees, board members, and volunteers, all with family included.
We thank the following for their contributions to the picnic:
Allen Chicken for the chicken
JBK for the moon bounce
Cody and Cindy Clark of Clark’s Seafood for the refrigerated truck to store all the chicken
Nancy and Dan Graham for the petting zoo
Kathy Abend, RN and director of adult inpatient services at Chester River Hospital Center, painted faces all day long. Here she expands her repertoire and decorates a little girl’s arm.
Marshall Ellsworth, support services assistant at Chester River Hospital Center, enjoyed the day with wife, Stephanie and children, Shelby and Tyler.
