Hospital Foundation Board David A. Bramble has been named as the second recipient of the Chester River Hospital Center Foundations T. Allan Stradley Humanitarian Award. The award recognizes extraordinary individuals who have contributed significantly to the enhancement of health care in our community; this is only the second time the award has been presented.
With this service offered locally, patients no longer need to drive an hour each way to receive treatment. His gift was in memory of his mother, Caroline A. Bramble, who died from the disease when he was a teenager.
The presentation was made at the Foundations Annual Meeting on March 25 by outgoing president C. Daniel Saunders and newly elected President Tony Gibbons-Neff. The award was created in 1997 to express the Foundations gratitude for an individuals vision, commitment, generosity and dedication to serving the health care needs of the hospital and the people in its community. The Award was named after T. Allan Stradley, the awards first recipient. -BACK- |
