Kennedyville runner Peggy Voorhees, center, raised over $3000 for Kent & Queen Anne’s Hospital with her run in the Boston Marathon last April. With the support of 66 donors she met her goal of purchasing several oxygen analyzers, devices that measures the concentration of oxygen being given to patients on a ventilator. Additional funds Voorhees raised were used to purchase a patient controlled analgesic pump that allows a patient to administer pain medication as needed.
