Jennifer Quincy has joined Magnolia Hall Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Chestertown as human resources director. In this newly created position she is responsible for managing employee retention and recruitment, benefits and personnel files, and assisting department managers with performance evaluations and employee relations.

Quincy is certified as a human resources specialist and has recently taken the exam to earn a professional in human resources certification.

“With Jennifer’s leadership, we expect to initiate a stronger employee recruitment and retention program,” points out Scott Murray, administrator of Magnolia Hall, a member of the Chester River Health System. “She will be available to assist our current and future employees with employment concerns and work closely with department managers. Jennifer is a most welcomed addition to our administrative team.”

A native of northern Virginia, Quincy holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Shepherd College, Shepherdstown, WV, and previously worked for several firms in northern Virginia. She and her husband, Steve, recently moved to Centreville.
