Two promoted at Kent & Queen Anne's Hospital
Kent
& Queen Anne's Hospital has named Bart Riordan, RT (R) as manager
of its radiology department and Matt Steele as director of facilities
management.
Riordan
rejoined the hospital as a staff radiology technologist in 1998 having
worked there earlier from 1986 to 1992. He has also worked in sales,
marketing and management for the Anne Arundel Medical Center, Diagnostic
Radiology Associates, Standard Medical Equipment Company and Picker
X-ray Corporation.
A graduate of the Anne Arundel General Hospital, School of Radiologic
Technology he will receive a bachelor of science degree in healthcare
management from the University of Baltimore later this year and plans
to immediately begin working toward a master's degree.
As director of facilities management for the hospital, Steele is responsible
for managing the maintenance department. In addition to the duties
of keeping the building operating and the grounds maintained, the
department is involved in renovation work as part of the current building
project.
He joined the maintenance staff as a carpenter in 1986 and became
trades supervisor in early 1992. Prior to joining the hospital staff,
Steele worked for Upper Shore Aging.
