Klinefelter Promoted,
Advances in Healthcare Executive Society

Robin Klinefelter has been appointed vice president, support and administrative services at Kent & Queen Anne's Hospital, in Chestertown, and has advanced to Diplomate status in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).

In addition to her previous responsibilities for public relations, fund raising, strategic planning, and corporate compliance, Klinefelter has assumed administrative responsibility for housekeeping, nutrition and food service, security and telecommunications.

In her new role she also serves as safety officer for the organization.

Klinefelter has also passed a comprehensive examination to become board-certified in healthcare management by the ACHE, an international professional society representing nearly 30,000 healthcare executives. Diplomates must demonstrate their commitment to continuing education, progression in professional experience and participation in voluntary healthcare and community affairs. Approximately 7,000 healthcare executives hold the Diplomate status in ACHE.

Klinefelter graduated summa cum laude from the University of Delaware with a bachelor's degree in English in 1986 and earned a master's degree in business administration from Wilmington College in 1994. Klinefelter joined the hospital in 1986.
