Prior to coming to Kent & Queen Anne's Hospital he worked as an
attending physician in the pulmonary division of Mt. Sinai Hospital
in Chicago. He has held medical school appointments at Rush Medical
School and served as the director of TB control at Cook County Hospital
for five years.
He performs pulmonary procedures such as bronchoscopies and pleural
biopsies; he specializes in pulmonary physiology testing such as pulmonary
function testing, sleep studies and exercise testing.
Dr. Trainor is very pleased to be joining Internal Medicine Associates
and working in Chestertown. "Practicing medicine on the Shore
has always been one of my dreams-growing up I spent many summers at
the Delaware shore," he explains. "I was delighted when
this opportunity came up; I was ready to trade working in a city for
working in a smaller community with the opportunity to really get
to know my patients."
He and his wife Cecilia, along with their son Michael, plan to take
advantage of all this area offers.
Dr. Trainor can be reached at Internal
Medicine Associates
by calling (410) 778-0200.
