Anesthesiology Services

Whether you're having surgery or in need of pain relief due to benign or malignant illness, your comfort and safety are our priorities at Chester River Hospital Center. Our anesthesiology team provides anesthesia services utilizing state-of-the-art anesthesia and monitoring equipment.

The anesthesiologist's goal is to create a relaxed, pain-free, stress-free state so surgery and other medical procedures can be performed. But modern anesthesia does more than just make surgery painless. By combining various techniques and medicines, it relieves anxiety and stress, controls the body's reaction (sometimes harmful) to stress, minimizes side effects and makes recovery easier.

Working closely with surgeons, obstetricians and other physicians, our board certified anesthesiologists and certified registered nurse anesthetists provide general, total intravenous and regional anesthesia for surgeries and other medical procedures to all age groups from seniors to children. We also provide mild or deep sedation, if necessary, for certain diagnostic and imaging procedures outside of the operating room.
